Sparky

Our cat, Sparkleworks Rainbowberry...aka Sparky, has been missing for one week now.  I won't lie. He was a PITA of a cat from day one but we are all saddened by his disappearance.  Randy let him outside just hours before Meg and I left for Illinois last Monday and he hasn't been seen since.  :-(

For those who aren't familiar with the story behind his name, Meg was four when we got him as a kitten.  We were told that we were receiving a female so Meg had her new kitten's name all picked out.  (If you can't already guess, Meggie was all about My Little Ponies at the time.)  After we discovered that Sparkleworks Rainbowberry was actually a male we nicknamed him Sparky.

His personality is best illustrated my header photo above.  He was a hisser and scared many a friend and family member.  But there was a softer side to him as well.

He's disappeared before but never for this long.  We're still hopeful that he will wander safely back home but given the increase in wildlife (coyotes in particular) we are fearful that he finally met his match.  :-(
