Island Fun

A few weeks ago we spent a couple of days on a local intracoastal island. Several families camped out over night.  I'm not a camper, especially when I'm so close to home, so Randy and I came home Friday evening and boated back out on Saturday morning.  Meggie did stay the night however and had a wonderful time.  Some photos to share -

The setting...

Our boat is the one on the far right...

Releasing Chinese lanterns that first evening...

Girl fun the next morning...

Isn't this the cutest thing?  The girls did this all by themselves.

And some relaxation for Randy and our Island Princess turned dirty water dog ...

This little spot was quite the find.  Great fishing for the guys.  Great sea creatures to be discovered by the kids.  Jasmine loved it because she could romp freely.  (No fear of her running off, it's a tiny island.  LOL!)   Meggie is begging to go back so hopefully we'll find a good weekend day soon.  It was wonderful!
