I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Meg started back to school on Tuesday and things are slowly returning to normal.
We had a quiet but very nice Christmas morning, just the three of us. Meg was convinced that she knew all of her gifts but as always, there were a few surprises.
Enter the elusive blue Neff watch. She'd been searching, without luck, for the blue model for months. (She has worn the pink one everyday for a year and a half.) Not even Amazon had it. (I KNOW!!!!) I spent the better part of the morning looking for one (the women's model, not the men's) and finally found a store in TN that had one. In the meantime she had settled (and bought) a green one from a local surf shop. Needless to say she was so surprised to find one under the three. (And yes, we never got the ornaments on. LOL!)
Never underestimate the power of "Mom on the Internet".
Other surprises included a bread machine (my girl LOVES her carbs!) and a soft, fuzzy, heated wrap.
I was also able to find her favorite Brazilian leather sandals in a different color which made her very happy.
Gifts that she was expecting included these cute animal footy pajamas (we disagree on just what animal it is),
lots of clothes from Hollister as well as this new smart TV.
Yes, she is a very lucky girl.
